Micade grew from a difficult learning journey, a decision to start again, and the discovery that teaching others can turn confusion into confidence.
Who we are
Micade Techie combines frontend development, digital marketing, and technology education. We are beginning with one clear audience: fashion designers in Lagos who need a professional digital home for their work.
The wider vision still includes education and useful digital products, but our launch focus is intentionally smaller so we can listen, serve well, and build evidence from real work.
Our story
Micade's founder studied Computer Science at Lagos State Polytechnic and moved into frontend development after completing an HND in 2020. Learning was difficult at first, especially alongside financial pressure. A 2022 internship at Semicolon Africa brought practical team experience, but an accident interrupted the journey. After recovering, the founder chose to start again from the fundamentals instead of walking away.
In 2024, teaching HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript at Uptech Computer Training Academy became the turning point. Explaining the basics to others strengthened the founder's own understanding. Approximately 100 students have been taught so far, including one former student who was supported as she became an instructor and now teaches children remotely through a school.
Micade represents a personal brand foundation with a wider mission: turning individual learning and digital creativity into solutions that can help others move forward.
